Who is porting TBs these days?

I've seen a lot of debate about the gains of a bigger TB but very rarely some actual dyno runs. I'd like to try one with a before and after dyno run. So who's porting TBs these days? I tried NOMAD's site but it doesn't work...
Thanks.

Useless or not, I'm willing to try it. I have the opportunity to test it, so if I can get my hands on one, I think the info will be useful for other people as well.

I know thunder racing sells stock throttle bodies that are bored out to 52mm for $200-250, I forgot the exact price.

I'd definately be interested in your findings madwolf. Would you by any chance be willing to do a test for a difference between say 48/52/58(mm) throttle bodies on the same exact car?

Wasn't there a guy on here that would bore your stocker to 52mm for a reasonable price?

I just sold my 52mm, and went back to stock one. Throttle response doesnt seem to be as great as before, but i beleive you get decent gains, i beleive most 52 and above come with an airfoil so that plus the extra air allowed get in should get you a decent amount of HP,

Ion,

Try this guy (David Koldos)

http://impalassforum.com/noncgi/ulti...;f=38;t=000024

After I posted I noticed the above post has the same guy. DOOOHH!

He does lots of work for the Corvette folks. I was considering doing
the same thing once I get the TB.

I still need some help with the tune so please let me know what the
next step is.

You might want to do a search. I swear i saw a post by Cmillard about installing a 58mm tb and tuning for it and saw a 30rwhp gain. It was on a heads and cam car. You might just want to look at getting a 58mm. I'm really happy with my BBK i just need to do the IAC mod.
