Who to port LT4 heads???
Re: Who to port LT4 heads???
Well, Phil is very good from what I have read, but you can't be in a big hurry when getting your heads from him. I spoke to him about 2 weeks ago and he said it would be the middle of September before he could get to my heads.
Re: Who to port LT4 heads???
I would try E.B. Porting
Thats who did my LT4 heads and thats who does Joe Overtons heads!!!
They are great. Even called to follow up and see how my project was going
His name is Eric 804-996-9077
He was pretty fast too. I think he told me about three weeks and he was on the money.

That is who did mine, and I'm pretty happy
Re: Who to port LT4 heads???
I will put my vote in for TEA (Total Engine Airflow). They do great work, very impressed with the ported LT1 heads and intake I purchased throught them. On a hot, humid, rainy day in August, with the Comp XE 230 cam with an M6, I put down 380 RWHP/345RWT on a mail order tune on the stock shortblock, runnin kinda rich, first pull. 390+ RWHP was easily within reach, then a rod bearing let go on the next pull
Oh well, the 396 is alive and kickin...
