Who makes GM's oil?

I was wondering who GM gets it's oil from? When you go to GM for an oil change the oil always costs sooooo much. So if it's the same as maybe Quaker State, it would a lot cheaper to just go to Wal-Mart and buy it there!!
So does anyone know?

Mobil (probably lowest bidder) makes most of their lubricants. Why go to the dealer? Just change your own oil.

I go the dealer because it gives me a chance to get it up on a hoist a take a good look at the underside...leaks, kinks, etc.!!

FYI, most Wal-Marts (round here anyway) have Mobil1 that they can change it with
i think it only costs $29 for an oil change at Wal-Mart here if they use Mobil1, i just bring in my own Delco filter
its not rocket science, hard to FUBAR an oil change so i let them do it plus its only like 2-3 dollars more and i dont get dirty

I thought maybe we were unknowingly funding operations to obliterate ourselves. It would almost be fitting.

Sorry I am so far off topic.
