With a laptop in their car? What are your reasons for it and is it worth it?

If i had a laptop i DEFINITELY would

It would be nice to run some scan tool while I'm driving to check parameters like timing, knock retard, TPS voltage, etc..

I would say if u have a laptop, it would totally be worth it to buy a cable and download some scan tools (they even have free runs) and see how ur car is running.

 

Anyone else?

 

I use mine with Datamaster when I run at the track for tuning purposes and to keep track of knock when I spray.

 

Mines in the car every track run, and about once a week driving around just to make things are running correctly.
