Who here passed the sniffer test with no cats?

Just wondering who here passed the test without cats. My state limits are 220ppm HC and 1.2ppm CO. For those outthere who did it, how close did you come to the limits and what are my chances of doing so? I'm thinkin about running Hooker LT's and the mufflex Y-pipe.

I plan on trying to make a friend at a local emmisons test center, but this is a worst case scenario plan.

Why dont u do what i did?
I had my shop flange up both the cat and ORP, so when i have my test, i can swap them and pass the test

I was told it was doable. I have one buddy who did it, but I was just wondering what my chances were. Maybe he has a clean running car...

What kind of exhaust set up are you running?

With teh y-pipe, wouldnt the converter be too far away from the motor to heat up? Or are you saying put 2 converters on the car, one after each header?

Sorry, I'm a little new to the LT1.
