I'm got everything in the engine compartment loose, I'm just wondering what's behind the dash the needs to be disconnected...the ALDL connector? Trying to get a scope of what remains, I'm swapping everything into another car. Thanks in advance.

 

Behind the dash should only take you a minute to disconnect. It's only 2 or 3 easy connectors. The grommet will come off the firewall, and the whole thing pulls out.

One question...what are those connectors for? I know one must go to the ALDL, what about the other one/two?

 

which ones u talking about? the big red/grey one go to the computer, as for all the others, just misc. sensors ets on the engine.

 

Here is a complete picture of a harness. Note the 4 connectors past the firewall grommet that have to be disconnected.

C220 and C230 are here. One connector (a/c evaporator) is plugged in on the HVAC housing and the other (C210) is tucked under the RH dash.
