ksmyss, those are REALLY good trap speeds you've got posted. Get that short time down some and you'll be moving.

yeah tell me about it. i was running 20 lbs in the drag radials cause i didnt want to blow up my third rear. when i finally decided to drop the pressure to 16 lbs and launch around 4K i toasted the clutch lol. so shes getting a new clutch and an 8.8 rear.

those speeds were made in the middle of july in the 90+ heat and high humidity of missouri

That's impressive to say the least. You're putting some power down. Have you been on a dyno?? What mods do you have??

I ran 13.43 at 106mph with a stock stall and cheap *** street tires 245/50/16 and a 2.2 60ft

so with a 2800rpm stall and slicks I feel confident that 12's are easily atainable for a LT1 car

my mods are in the sig

I ran a 12.91 @ 104.5 mph in my heavy *** convertible when it was FULL weight. The only thing that might qualify as a weight reduction was the 1/4 tank of gas. It even had the stock salad shooter rims at all 4 corners.

The car ran a bolt-on best 12.84 @ 105.1 with a gutted interior (preparing for 8 point) but with a crappy 1.77 60 foot. On a good high 1.6x or low 1.7 60 I think I could have ran a 12.7x. Once the 8 point was in I gave up on the bolt-on times and threw ported heads and a cam on the thing. I haven't gotten any good times yet but I think I have a bad opti. It breaks up above 5800 rpm.

There are quite a few people out here that run 12's with bolt on LT1's. Most of them (if not all) have Autos with a nice stall in them.

Im at 13.2 with no headers, no skinnies, a system in the car and an old 2400 stall. 2800 in there now, looking for 12's without headers.

I ran a 12.5 with some tire spin. I have a M6, and its a true bolt on weighing 3660. I have stock heads, cam, rockers, no boost or juice. All in the suspension. I just got some front Bogart skinnies and am adding an asp pulley, and going to do some weight reduction and see where that gets me. I have not heard of anyone quicker with stock rockers, cam, and heads. If anyone has let me know.

You ask and I reply!
My last trip to the track was my best. My Z does have stock rockers, heads, cam and suspension......for now!
I would like to add 1.6 rockers, various suspension mods and maybe a few little tricks to get closer to my 11.99 goal with a 6spd. My info will be in sig below.....

12.61 @ 108.6 mph
1.80 60ft

Weather conditions were average the day I ran that number. I was still very pleased with the results. I did the number with no pcm tuning.
