I found an adapter that you can use to convert one piece rear seal motors, to a 2 piece, that means you can use a Gen 1 rotating assembly on an LT-1, Jegs, Summit, and Pace sell it, has anybody tried this?

Interesting idea, but personally I think the 1 piece rear seals alot better and is less prone to leaks compared to the 2 piece.

But personally I have never went the route you want to go.

I know people who have done it...no big deal, no leak problems.

You will need another flexplate...the 2pc. has a larger bolt patern.

Guys were doing that in the 90's when the 1pc. stroker cranks were just coming out.....pretty sure moroso made them

Mine is a stick, if i have to buy another flywheel, and the piece to convert it, it may not be worth the savings.
