Who has the thickest intake manifold gasket set.

Anyone know the thickest intake manifold gasket for the LT1. I've had some GM intake and they were much thicker than most of the Felpros i've had. Are these the thickest?

I use the felpro 1206 (I think thats it) It has the sealing rings around the ports. I love those things. Fairly thick.

You can always double up a gasket if you need to. Why do you need a thicker gasket anyway??

I want a thicker gasket because my heads have been milled and my deck has been set so i want to make sure i get a good seal on the ports. I checked summits site and it lists the thickness for some of the gaskets but others it does not. I believe the GM gaskets are much thicker than the felpro gaskets but i want to make sure.

I think I measured the GM to be .067 and the Felpros .061.

Has your intake been milled?

nope, a friend told me that if i set the intake down dry (with no silicone on the block) with the gaskets in place and you can see a gap between the intake and the block you don't need to mill it. Mine had a gap but i want to make sure i have a good seal.
