who has removed their EGR.. ?
1. Removed the EGR components. Solenoid, EGR tube (intake-exh. manifold), blocked off open holes with vacuum plugs which I believe 3/8". Also removed AIR at the same time.
2. SJM Manufacturing. The site address is posted in every single !EGR thread which emerges every other day.
3. OBDII cars set a code. I have an eternal SES light until I get it programmed out. OBDI cars dont set a code 95% of the time.

1. when i did headers, i removed the egr tube from the manifolds and trashed it, removed the EGR valve from the back of the intake manifold.
2. i made my block off plates (3 of them, one for the headers, and two for the intake manifold) from a sheet of steel with my dremel tool. i used RTV and new gaskets to make them seal.
3. it did not set my SES off in my obd2, although removing the air pump did. but it will throw a code.
hope this helps.
