Who has bought/sold a complete LT1?

I mean with all the belt accessories, computer, t-56 (or auto), exhaust manifolds, all the way up to the air filter. I'm thinking of parting out my car and trying to get a rough idea of what the value would be of everything.

Thanks.

At a salvage yard here in Los Angeles, I paid $1800 for an 1994 LT1 with 4L60E tranny, all accessories, computer, exhaust man.

I paid $1200 (pick up) for a ~40-60K motor. It came with a portion of the wiring harness, all accessories, MAF, PCM, some intake ducting, exhaust manifolds and some other things.

You should be able to sell the T56 alone for a grand or even a little more if it's in perfect working condition. Or sell both as a package for $2K.

Did you do a carfax on it? There seems to be a network of scammers that sell "super-low mileage" engines. Mine was advertised as 15K miles and another one I came across was 20K miles. A carfax showed things to be slightly different.

Paid $900 for LT1/4l60e, but $400 shipping... then found out the one damaged part of the engine, the intake, let water in (no hood) and I had to go through the whole motor. Don't know the condition of the 4l60e yet, but will know soon once it's driving
