Who has a 383 and 2-bolt mains?

I am looking into building a 383 from stratch and dropping it into my Z28. I have already found a forged rotating assembly that I like. Now my question, how necessary is it to get 4-bolt mains? I don't know how much HP the car might put out, and I don't plan on spraying. The car will make it to the track maybe once a month, and I don't plan on revving it over 6500rpm. I just don't want to spend $2000 just on a bare short block if I don't really need the 4-bolt mains. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I'm running 2 bolt mains. I made sure the rotating assembly was balanced, and am running ARP studs in the main caps. Next time through this, I'll do the splayed caps, but for now I'm gonna see how long it'll survive 600+ horse. So far, so good.

I've got 2 bolt mains on my 383 that just went in on the weekend. It'll eventually get a little boost, but nothing big. 10#'s or so. But then again my compression is lowered too.
