good luck with your car! although i think we know luck only plays a small part you didn't want to stay with the stock intake? do you need a large cowl to work with that intake?
looks great!

psst....hose the biaaatch

cold day is worth something, but was i wrong in what he ran prior to that run? just curious, as i am trying to make heads and tails of this 0.4 seconds is alot to pick up thanks to good air. i have no reason not to trust the person who told me that a bit of spray might have been tossed in for fun on the top hence, hence the high mph, especially on motor, then again i never get air that good... i guess

either way it is moving! any chance that he is heading to the north vs south shootout in morocco indiana, june 19th?

Jason, is that still a LT1? That motor is sick..at least i don't have to race you at the shootouts..lol. Good luck with it and can't wait to see what it does

Tanner....I'm just going to call it that I have to beat a 10.76...that should cover any speculation about who went what with what. With my luck Jason is gonna lower the NA bar some more and put it out of my reach. Weather is turning bad down here but I managed to stay in the 10s in some OK weather..so maybe with the new setup I can even pick up some in the heat. I honestly was suprised that this is the fastest so far..guess I was doing better than I though. You going to make it to the thunder shootout this year?

taner, care to spill the name of the person who sayed he sprayed? i was personally there the day of that pass and im sure dave would have no problem in posting the timeslip. setups have changed a little since last year , lets just say...it is a coil-pack conversion

once it is tuned in, i think he is planning on hitting some big events this year.

i don't doubt the slip or the fact that the pass occurred, only question was whether or not, as i was told there was a bit of spray used. like i said, no biggie, i will let it go, lol! regardless i am sure that won't stand too long! hell i am sure my pb will be surpassed soon enuff! sorry i won't mention a name.

Thunder shootout, hmmm maybe??? i would like to go but will have to play it by ear. i would love to race down in your neck of the woods everyone seems to go faster!!! i mean much faster

i would ove to be able to benefit from that awesome air!

So what does 11.56@122mph@ 5,400 feet elevation run at sea-level. It sucks in the thin air. One of these days I'll make it down to sea-level to find out.

How's it going Tanner. It's Neal by the way. I gave you pic's of my Canton Valve covers.

Hey Tim....yeah its still an LT1 How is your combo going? Cant wait to see some new number from you....your car is 100% impressive to me! Something about those M6 solid roller Formula's

My car is nowhere's near being a drag car....its more road race than anything (suspension). But even so, I hope for some low 10s and hopefully more like some 138mph trap speeds on motor.

Neal....nice times there! easy 10s and 128+mph at sea level. Glad to see the motor is coming together for you!

Jason, its coming good, welded lt4 intake is ready, heads should be ready next week some time. I'm going to start pulling the car down this week I think. I'm finally going to have some flow numbers on my current heads..lol. Hopefully I will pick up some. I'm pretty sure I will but only time will tell. I have to step it up for the ls1 boys in this small cube class. Even then I don't know if it will help from what I've heard is being built by some shops out there. Oh well...fast ls1s seem to rarely finish these races anyway..lol. I will just have to outlast them.

Neal..bring the car to the thunder shootout this year and find out.

95Bird, your car is very impressive in its current form! What changes are you making and who's doing your headwork?

Thanks

I'm switching to an lt4 heads and ported/welded lt4 intake. Hopefully this will help the car breath up top a bit more. SAR2K with thunder racing is doing my heads. We should have results here shortly.

Wow! Looking good Jason.

So I'm curious what your verdict was on the hood? And did you need to do any cowl cutting?

Good luck with your setup.. should be a screamer.
