I have a stock 48mm throttle body I want to have ported out to a 52 or slightly larger, and I'm looking to do it and get it back within the next couple weeks before I finish my stroker motor. Who can do it right now? I also need a portmatched airfoil...

how much does he charge to get bored to 58 mm?

 

Not sure if you can bore the stocker to 58mm. Although most people on here dont take "No" or "It cant be done" very easily.

A search would also turn up alot more results.

Stock throttle bottle can only ne bored to a 52mm.

 

I tried him already. He's putting some peope together right now for a group of 10. But I dont know how long it's going to take, it may take awhile...I know there's others on this board, just trying someone who can do it and not charge me more than a new one

 

There's a guy on Ebay that does it for like $150 +core charge.

 

i would not even bother with modding the stock to a 52mm when a 383 would benefit more from a 58mm,jmo though!

 

My 383 is built mostly for street torque, max power at 6200 RPM with stock ported LT1 heads. I dont want the potential running problems of the BBK or Holley and dont have the money for a nice AS&M or similar unit. I figure a 52mm will be fine for now, then I can change later as I see fit.
