there is what looks like a vaccume distribution block on the pass side of the intake manifold in the middle of the injectors with two vac lines comming from it. it has a sensor in it as well. all emissions crap is gone egr, smog pump etc. i would like to know if anyone knows what function this part does, thanks

 

I think you're talking about the carbon canister purge solenoid. I would leave the carbon canister on.
