I am currently doing an LE2/LE1 Emissions install and would like to do the white spring mod on the oil pump but I would like to know if it is possible to get my oil pump out (the pan is already partially dropped) with the M6 tranny still in place. I know I can do it with the tranny removed (painful clutch story) but not sure if I can shoehorn the oil pump out with the tranny still insalled (and the oil pan fully detatched but not removed - if you know what I mean). Will I have to jack up the engine a bit or am I just plain out of luck?
