While installing Roller Rockers.

Ok, I have the whole TDC thing down, and all that stuff. But I'm stuck at setting zero lash and setting my pre-load. I have 1.6 SA Comp Cam Pro Mags and stock lifters. Do I tighten the rocker nut until I can't spin the pushrod or do I tighten it until there is some drag? I've heard some people say both. After that is it best to do a 1/2 turn? Or should I do more or less? Also, if I set #1 to TDC I can do In:1,2,5,7 and Ex:1,3,4,8; then to the rest when #6 is at TDC, right? Thanks a lot.

Alright, so you do just tighten until you feel some drag, then do a 1/2 to 3/4 turn on the nut. Sounds like a plan. Thanks for the help.

As soon as the PR no longer turns freely, that is 0 lash. I would not turn it any more than half a turn after that. It will KILLLLLLL horsepower bad if you over tighten the rockers.
