Question where's my Torque at?

Hey guys, I just bought a 94 LT1. When I take off the line it's kinda sluggish, but then it gets going. I looked at the air filter and it's dirty as no other, so I'm just gunna buy a new K&N today. Hopefully that will fix it. I thought it might by the cat converter. I already plan on cutting that later, but how do I clean it for now? Any other suggestions? Thanks and God Bless

Actually, if you cut your cats off, you will probably lose more of your bottom end torque, but gain it back on the higher rpm.
