Where's a good place to look for a used bellhousing?

My freaking bell housing has a large crack in it and i need a new one. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on f body specific junk yards that could sell me one with out buying the entire tranny.

every place i call won't sell me just bell housing and i can't find any in the classifieds.

Thanks
Shawn

I had got mine replaced for my auto tranny too! Give DCMOTORSPORTS a call at (915)781-1377. They will be able to get you one or tell you where to get one from. Mine had cracked from my old torque converter going out and slamming into the bellhousing.

Is that normal with aftermarket pressure plates? It happened to a friend of mine. He installed a Centerforce clutch pak and he cracked two BLHSNGS.
I guess that the stocker has around 900 lbs of application force and the Centerforce is around 1500 lbs. Is the crack near the clutch fork? Alluminum trans?

Do they have one of those walk-in junk yards around you where you can pick through stuff yourself?
