Wheres a good place to have heads ported?

I saw a post awhile back reccomending a place. I want mine to flow like LT4 heads. I think I saw that it cost around $1000.

Lloyd Elliot of course I had mine done at race engine design in chattanooga Tn. but that's because I had them doing some other work and I got it done cheaper in a package deal. I have heard VERY good things about lloyd though, as I am sure more will chime in and tell you. Some will say Advanced Induction but, they are a little higher (probly out of your price range) and from what I HEAR Lloyd does damn near, if not, as good as them. One more thing...........you may have to wait a little while for Lloyd he's having some personal issues right now and as far as I know he's not taking any order right now. I'm sure he will in the near future. FWIW If I was needing my heads ported right now I would probly wait on Lloyd he's that good (and cheap) in my opinion.

I'm not gonna have it done for a year or two, I just wanted to get some prices so I know how much to save up. And I wanted to find out who did the best work for the best price. A local place told me 1500 and up depending on what I wanted.

pricewise vs quality, your not going to touch Loyds work. I recommend getting the heads/custom cam package though, if your going to go that far you might as well do it all the first time.

BTW a search for this would have given you more information than you could read in a day...
