where should i purchase comp R lifters???

I need to purchase some lifters. I did a search and it seems the Comp R's are the right/popular way to go.

Where should I purchase these lifters?

Thanks!

Thunder Racing has them for $209.99 + shipping + you get a online ordering discount. Besides they are a supporting advertiser.

Unfortunately for me, I needed a set and no one had them in stock except Comp at the point when I ordered. This was immediately after they became available again.

Why not just get some stock ones? What is so much better about that Comp lifters?

I've seen from quite a few posts that COMP R's aren't any better than regular COMP replacement lifters.
I think I only paid around $140 for my COMPs, locally.

Joe was telling me something about them pumping up much faster than normal ones, and something about them acting almost like a solid abobe xxxx rpm. Take that as you will, I'm kinda skeptical about the latter part myself, but the first is believable.
