Where to put Vaccum Can...

I Currently have a Vac Can mounted right where the stock airbox originally went.

I have a cheap CAI that I am swapping to an SLP CAI.

The SLP CAI wont fit with the can mounted there.

The engine bay is freaking tight........where do ya'll mount cans?

Any idea's would be helpful

Mine is mounted under the cowl above the driver's side valve cover. It uses the master cylinder bolt to hold it in place. I would take a pic, but my car is in a million oieces right now.

I mounted a vac pump down where my cold air intake filter is located, still very tight fit, right in front of the drivers wheel behind the plastic panels, my cold air intake filter is there also. I had a can there at one time but did not help much with the brakes, had to go the vac pump. that's the only place I found to put it, still a pain to get to it, every time I clean my filter I always check my pump and make sure its still tight.

I have mine next to where the airbox should be mounted on a pair of aluminum brackets we fabbed up.
(Similar to what Cleangene did)
I run a ram air hood though, so I'm not sure if the CAI would fit.

I installed a Comp vacuum canister since my new cam has been robbing a little vacuum. I made a bracket out of 1/8" x 1" metal stock and just brazed the pieces together. It is installed just under the ABS unit using the the ABS bracket bolts.
