Question Where to put MSD box!?

Hey guys, i just got a MSD 6AL ignition box and was looking under the hood, and i really don't see a good place to put it . I have a 94 Z (mods in sign) and if anyone has one also or a 94-97 with MSD, please let me know where ya put the thing. Any and all suggestions and opinions welcome! Thanks in advance !

I've seen driver side inner fender, right above the air filter, and in the glove box

www.ws6.com this site shows the dyno results, but there is no real power gain, just better MPG and idle...

I put my holley anhialator box on top of the fan shroud. No problems there so far. They don't really make much for power by themselves. Benefit more on a blower or N2o application.

Although most people put their MSD boxes in the engine bay, the best place is inside the car somewhere, like in your glove box. HEI units like MSD and Accel don't like heat, and keeping them inside the car will prolong their life, and improve their stability. Ever wonder why the MSD box looks like a heat sink?

I put mine in the glovebox and routed it through the grommet on the firewall where the wires go through. I did this because I don't want any heat getting to it as mentioned above.

If you want pics, I can take some for ya.

I thought that they said placing it in the glove-box was a bad idea because no moving air would be able to cool it down.

Yeah, they do say that it voids the warranty if you put it there, but I bought mine used anyways, so they probably wouldn't warranty mine...plus, how are they going to know where you put it??

Here are my pics...

If you want lots of heat, just put it in the glovebox. That is why they say don't put it in there.
"Put it in the glovebox" is bad advice.
