Where to put Jack stands

Where to put Jack stands

ok im changing a clutch does anyone know where to put jack stands? DO i place the car on all four jack stands or just the front? and plus does anyone have any pics of where to place them thanks

I used 4 jackstands when I swapped clutches. Jack the car up in the front by those black plastic pads. Then put the jackstand underneath the subframe those pads are connected to, just slightly behind (toward the rear of the car) the pad. Jack up the rear by the differential housing, using a block of wood between the jack and the diff. There are subframes close by that you can set your stands underneath.

Not trying to be a jerk, but are you sure you can take on a clutch swap if you are asking where to place the jackstands? Its not a hard job, but its not a walk in the park either. Just be careful and you'll come out ok.
