I have bought a 3inch cutout from summit and i was wondering where the best place to put it would be. I have 02 sims so would it be better to go before the cats or before the muffler?

you can't put it before the cats......there's no room. I put mine right under the rear passenger seat....look in my sig on the cardomain page.

 

OK, thanks , I was wondering bouth that. did you see any real gains from it or more of a sound thing?

 

There is another option.
A person could mount it just before the muffler 90 at the rear of the car, pointing sort of down and back.

At leat then the sound will be coming from the rear and not "under" the car.........
