where is the power at in this cam

Comp XE 227/233 .560/.569

where is the peak power at. i was looking at the 230/236 but people on the board were saying the shift point and peak power is around 6200rpm. so then i was looking at the 224/230 and everyone seemed to like it. well now i saw this one, looks like its in the middle. so my question is

1. how much power will this have with all bolt ons, stock heads.
2. how much power will this have with all bolt ons, and LE heads
3. can i get this cam on a 112 lope
4. where is the peak power

car is a 95z 6 speed

thanks

Re: where is the power at in this cam

generic question,

cams with lift bigger then 450 have power bands higher in the rpm range.
How much power with full boltons?? Noone can answer that due to so many factors, i.e condition of drivetrain, engine, internal parts. e.t.c

an example would be full bolton 6-speed with a 306 cam and LT's would push anywhere from 340-420HP.

Talk to Combination Motorsports. That cam is custom-ground for them by CompCams.

They should be able to answer #1 w/o problem.

They'll need flow #'s on the LE heads to answer #2.

#3 Yes...It is available on a 112 LSA.
#4 Will vary based on supporting mods. Give CM the details, and they'll be able to give you an estimate.

If you call them, please post the results.
