Where is the oil pressure sending unit

Where is the oil pressure sending unit

Where is the oil pressure sending unit ? So I can replace it. I looked in a book and it did not say!

i asume your talking about a lt1 .if you are the sending unit is located on the back of the intake pointing toward the driver side.

No, it's in the block. Just look above the filter, and you'll see it sticking out of the block.

On a 1995 and up, it is behind the intake manifold. On a 1993 and early 1994s, it is above the oil filter on the side of the block.

Touche' shoebox, I forgot about that. I don't get to see under the hood of anything but a 93 very often.
