Try one of the supporting venders. They could order it for you

A suggestion.... always start with our "Supporting Vendors" (see link to the list at the top of EVERY page). These are the people who know our cars best, have competetive prices, and help support the cost of CamaroZ28.com. Its sort of disappointing when people start recommending lists of non-supporting advertisers (and in some instances is taken as evidence of unpaid advertising, which can have negative consequences on your membership). I saw one of our sponsors post that he had the MSD Opti, at least one of them, a couple weeks ago.

Re: Where to get Pro-Billet™ LT-1 Distributor

Talked to a rep yesterday and he stated that the release date has never changed and the will be out mid february, he stated the 15th.

Summit just wants you to place an order so that when they come in you are billed.

I have been waiting for about a month and a half, summit states that they are shipping them out as they come and that you are next on the list but they still have not had any yet.

MSD you can place an order through but expect to pay a whole bunch more.

I will post back when I see mine for sure.

I need a new opti, but I've been holding off on buying a new OE opti in hope that the MSD one will be available before I'm ready to start my new engine. I'm running out of time rather quickly HURRY UP MSD!!!!!

Re: Where to get Pro-Billet™ LT-1 Distributor

Well before the MSD or the stock opti, I'd look into the dynaspark. It is available from Thunder Racing, and I'm sure other performance companies, is cheaper than the MSD and is a PROVEN piece. We all know how much the previously released MSD cap and rotor works.

I'd check into it. I just purchased one for opti problems I've had with a stock opti.

Here's a pic:
