where to get LT4 km?

i was just wondering where is the best/cheapest place to get an LT4 knock module. i found one locally at an AC delco parts place for $45.00. is that a pretty baseline price or do they usually go cheaper?

Go to Shoebox's Tech Pages (bookmark this - you're going to find a ton of good info there), he has the part #, the typical discount price and the place to buy it.

Or, there's always the "search" button.... this comes up quite often

Re: where to get LT4 km?

From Shoebox's site:
LT4 knock module - 16214681 - $27.66
You would have to add shipping to that, and the price may have gone up, like everything else. When I buoght mine back in maybe 1998, it was about $25.

Also from Shoebox:
Where to buy GM parts

Wholesale prices and no rip-off shipping.

or

Jason Cromer: 877-726-8295
(or 850-243-8826 - direct parts dept ph # - not toll free)
Sam Taylor Buick/Cadillac, Ft. Walton Beach, FL

There have been some recent (4/2005) site changes at Sam Taylor. Not sure if the telephone numbers are still good. Use info on their website if necessary.
Do a "search" on these names... there was a post about 2 weeks ago citing some problems with inadequate packaging by Cromer/Taylor and damage to parts.

It's just a reference list. You can buy it anywhere you want. I suggest either of the two parts contacts listed on my site.
