Where to find fuel rail covers?

I was wondering if anyone knew where to find fuel rail cover...like the ones on the vettes. I found some at Lingenfelter...but they are $400-$1200. I am just looking for some black or red high temp plastic covers to cover the fuel rails and valve covers...I saw it on an LT1 and made the engine look so much better IMO. Let me know if there is a place to get them for the LT1.

keep a check on ebay for a deal on some but if you're in a hurry then just get some from RKsport. They look nice. I like the black ones with polished LT1 logo.

The guy that had the ones on his car had the plastic corvette ones, the RK sport site only has the left one...I wonder why not the right side. I do like the other ones, LT1 and Z28...how do those look on? Any pics on the engine?

The vet fuel rail covers you can get at your local GM dealer for about $75.00.

I had some Corvette fuel rail covers... they will work but you will need to do some grinding to clear the back. It was about 6 years ago, they looked good. Then I tried to fill in the grooves and had them painted. The vibration cracked the fill and then they looked like crap. I don't recommend filling in the grooves.

I got my covers at GMpartsdirect.com for $25 a piece (or something close to that). Look on Projectransam.com and there's an install article including all parts needed.

I wish I had the money for MBA's whole engine dress up!!!! They do look phat. Maybe on down the road. I didn't know these little plastic covers were such a pain in the A$$ to put on.
