Where to find braided fuel lines
Re: Where to find braided fuel lines
NOS has ready-made -AN braided S/S hoses in a variety of diameters and lengths, with either red or blue fittings. Go to the NOS online catalog, and get the part number for the size/length/color you want, then go to Summit or JEG's and input the part number with the manufacturer code. For example, at Summit, the code for NOS is - surprise - "NOS".... so you would enter NOS-17535 and the price and availability of part 17535 will pop up. They can have the parts to you next day if they are in stock.
Re: Where to find braided fuel lines
All you need is to get a fitting that will fit in the fuel filter (its actually labeled as a power steering adapter), then get a an-6 from the fuel filter to the feed line to the regulator. Then get a an-6 to 3/8 hardline adapter. It uses a compression fitting to fit on the regulator and then the -6 screws into it. I did the same thing with the return line so it would match, but I just tapped into the hard line under the truck, instead of running it all the way back to the tank (tapped it with another hardline to compression adapter). I have an awesome race shop locally that carried everything in stock, but you could get it all at summit or jegs.

Re: Where to find braided fuel lines
Their is a 5/16th return line, and a 3/8 feed line......they are sticking out the drivers side of the fuel rail. The "feed" line comes from the fuel pump, the return line goes back into the tank. Just different terminology i guess.
