Where does the HVAC vacuum hose go?

Where does the HVAC vacuum hose go?
I know where it attaches on the intake but then it gets bundled up with a ton of wires and I can't see where it goes to. I think it may be the culprit of my vacuum leak.

It goes to this check valve. It frequently gets broken.
