I've got mine after the headers/y-pipe. It hit the ground the other day, and I don't even have my DMH e-cutout mounted on it... I hope I don't shear any of it off.

I have a DMH ecut-out and it is mounted approx under the rear seat, right after the primary pipe goes over the cross member for the Sohn TA and after the cat. There is a nice cavity that the electric motor fits in and is protected from speed bumps, etc. That location also allowed me to use a drain hole for the wires instead of drilling through the floor board. Made the electrical hook-up very simple. I also added an extension which a friend fabricated for me (he builds headers for trucks!) so that I could direct exhaust away from the electric motor, etc. Looks awesome and is very functional. Will try to take pics tonight. Hope this helps!

I think it's a unique approach to mount it by the axle, though I don't know if I'd like it or not. However, I may end up moving it there because of clearance issues.

When running the wires, I didn't have to drill any visible holes into the body anywhere. There's a 'frame-rail' for lack of a better term, right next to the cat. I fished a coat-hanger through that, into the right front wheel well.

From there, I 'enlarged' a pre-existing hole and fed the wire through. I ran it along the top of the wheel well, up to where the battery is. It went then from the battery along the top of the fender, to behind the PCM. There's one grommett that I had to take out and silicone around. The wires went to ... something.... under the dash.

At that point, all that was left was just removing the bottom dash panels, and into the console. I didn't have to tuck away much extra wire.

I know it kinda seems like extra steps, but I just didn't like to have the wire exposed beneath the car, and I really didn't want to drill straight up into the car. With the wire through the frame-rail, it's protected and out of the way.
