Where do these go?
I pulled all of his site, and burned it to a CD. I have a Pentium 3 800 computer inside the car, so I had his site on hand. I didnt get much work done because I was running all over the place looking for a way to lengthen the power steering pipes, the solution reccomended to me, braze it, so I plan on sleeving and brazing. I picked up some brake line from pep boys, and some 1/2" steel pipe from The Home Desporation. Turns out after cutting the flange off the brake line, filing down the inside and outside of both the brake line, and 1/2" steel pipe, its almost a press fit! I will probably only need to braze the sleeve to the brake line/power steering line. I was stoked. Everything is starting to come togather. As long as mother nature cooperates tomorrow, I think I can make some real progress. I would very much like the helm, but I need it now, and I just dont have the time to wait for it to be shipped, or the money to buy it/have it shipped, however, I think the stuff from ShoeBox's site will help me enough to get by. The only think I am still really confused about is the O2's. I swear, I only got 1 O2, only had 1 location for an O2, and those twin square 4 wire plugs just seem to go to nothing.....The O2 sensor was on a different plug...it was in one of the pics....so, I'm at a loss there, but then, I still havent poured over the stuff from the site since I wanted the car to be right there when I did...
Anyways, thanks for the help so far!

ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH lol, still a few connectors I cant figure out...
Ok, here I go again, unfortunatly, I forgot to write down the colors of these wires, I'll do it today when I go back....my attention got turned though to these

New power steering lines. Unfortunatly I made a real dumb mistake. I thought the fit into the sleeves was tight enough that the alignment wouldnt change....I was wrong, and should have noticed, but I was so worried about running my o2 tank down that I didnt. My torch?
Ignore that blue bottled brass topped propane torch....
So anyways, here are the pics, if you can id them on the connectors alone, cool, if not, I'll post wire colors.

There is also one more that didnt come out, I believe it is a white connector with a notch coming down from the top 1/16" wide, maybe 1/8" deep. It comes out the same part of the harness that the EVAP solenoid comes out of.
I cou;dnt find any of these connectors on the wiring diagrams. I'm about ready to just finish up the power connections and hook it up, then see what codes get thrown lol.
Ok, a few other things, can anyone tell me would the either 6 cyl camaro's fusebox work? Howabout the ALDL connector? How about the IAT? Now I'm getting greedy lol, how about the coolant temp, and oil pressure senders

I see headaches in my future....I am going to make another prediction. Some of those connectors go to oh say the inder hood fusebox....which wasn't included w/ my motor....some go to the ALDL connector, and use a different plug than my 87 does...1 has to be a buel pump relay, so I'll have to figure out a hack for that one I'm sure....At least one should be a 4l60 connecter, but I dont know which one. Some/1? sholuld go to the anti-lock brakes...which I dont have....so basically it looks like I need to find a junkyard, rip the aldl connector out (what a hassle) oull the under hood fusebox if they didnt include it w/; the wiring harness, a fuel pump relay....and if there is anything else ya'll see in there that I havent mentioned....
LOL, I posted duplicates. 1/4 is not the maf. I found the maf
Its a 4 wire connector.
Any info on the above possibility of using 6 cyl models fusebox/aldl/etc?
How bout those wires
lol

Cory,
I'm at home sick w/ a virus. If you can give me a good location from where the connectors are coming out of a harness, i.e., the maf sensor, came out of driver's side harness by throttle body over top the coil. Or give me a shot of the harness in question along w/ the color wires going to the connector, I can look it up in my manual and hopefully help you. I am familiar with all the connectors on the 94 motor, but some of those you have shown, I haven't seen before. Are you showing LT1 and old T/A harnesses? If so, I can only help w/ the LT1 harnesses.
Let me know,
Jeff

been away too long
Ok, I havent shot any more pics, I have basically been fixated on my power steering lines, 1 of which I finished up tonight, the other will be finished up early tomorrow. Unfortunatly Texas is pouring on the heat 95º tomorrow with at least 50% humidity = no work for me. I tried this afternoon around 5:00....immediatly after walking outside to the car, I was covered in sweat. I picked up my Engine hoist from the storage place where I left it after shipping out the old 305 plus my brothers 3.8 Turbo...but that was it for the day. I went back at 7:30 and worked until 9:00 or so.
I will try and snap more pics, I located some new plugs for the A/C....unfortunatly one of those pipes is looking pretty bad. I was told that brazing would hold the pressure of power steering, anyone know if this holds for A/C as well?
I realized in one of the first set of pics there was an 87 connector in it, one of the dash indicators, so it got left out on the pics following it, I tried to make them all LT1 pics
I got some help elsewhere for making my 87 stuff work with the new motor.
Well, thats it. More tomorrow. I will be quitting around noon, maybe 1 or 2 o'clock at the latest depending on how fast it heats up tomorrow.

wow....
Well I didnt get to any more wires.....I spent the weekend on the.....power steering! I got all the lines brazed, unfortunatly the flex tube blew out of its holder as I kinda expected to happen....so I added steel extensions to the whole thing....trouble is I cant get the connector into the pump. I spend all day sunday, ALL DAY trying to get the thing to go in. I even re-cut the threads on both ends just to be sure. I am thinking I need new lines, so I am going to move onto other things here, while I wait for my next paycheck, so I will go back to the wires, I will install the torque arm, headers, driveshaft, trans mount, etc...I will go back through all suggestions in here then snap some new pics, and document the colors of the wires
Thanks
Corry
