Where can I get a good crate motor??

I'm looking to spend under $3500. Low compression for the S/C. Are the crate 350 motors the same as the LT1? Does it matter. I'll be dropping all emissions anyway. Thx for the help.

it is not an LT1 so many of your accessories and you pcm and such will not work...

the lack of an opti will be your first problem (or saving grace?), you will need a new intake manifold, water pump, distributor, carb or pcm, as well as a few other things i missed

Could always just buy an LT1 Shortblock.

paceparts.com has a LT1 Crate for 4500.. LT4 Crate for 5500

Try these guys, they're really not that bad and customer service is really good.
You can get the LT1, LS1, and the LS6. Pretty much with any option too.

The prices look good, and the power looks ok, but those numbers are flywheel hp. Those will not be the numbers you pull when installed in your car at a dyno.

I'll have them adjust it so I car run some boost. Power is a belt away!
