Ok, I am ABOUT settled on Comp Cams CC305 for my car. I have found it at Thunder($253), summit($248) and jegs($249)(prices are shipped). I am gonna check the local place but where else might have it. Just trying to get the best price. Also, Thunder recommends the "987"($90) springs for it and summit pairs up the "983"($70) springs. What gives? Also, can I reuse the original retainers/locks etc? I am thinking I am gonna order the cam/springs first and then the rr's(crane gold 1.6 3/8" self alining)??? when it gets time to start the project in mid april and I have more cash. Any thoughts?
P.S. Yes, I am doing pcmforless as well.

 

Due to your location it may not be cost effective, but you could check with lunati cams and cranks im Memphis, TN. They turn and sell a lot of cams and cranks and are very performance oriented company. Good luck

No machine work required for the springs, free pushrods and seth and sam are great to deal with.
Haven't had a problem with jegs yet but Summits customer service isn't worth the price differance if you have a problem.
