Where to buy new opti?

The opti on my GF's Trans Am took a **** this past week and now I need to replace it. It's a 93, who has the best price? Thanks!

Mike, I've seen you on the Corvette Forum enough to know you should know the answer to this!! Gene Culley man!!! GM Parts House. He'll probably be close to the best overall.

P.S. Get your GF or yourself over to the SD site since it's a 93.

Haha, I checked with Gene, he wants 400 bones, AC Delco ones are tree-fiddy at Summit! I'm just trying to get the GF's ride back on the road as cheap as possible so we can sell it and pick up a 99-02 WS6 It's an ultra clean 93 TA GT with a WS6 hood (a real one, not some b.s. knockoff) its an auto with 66K miles on it, MAC headers, a hotcam (I think) and some other boltons. Any idea what its worth? It's a hardtop too!

Unfortunately, about 80% of 93's were hard tops. No added cool factor there. If it's in good shape with 66K miles on it, I'd say you should be able to get at least $6K for it.

I didn't realize Gene was charging that much for a non-vented opti! Ouch.

For AC/Delco (Delphi) parts I use:

www.autopartsgiant.com
www.oehq.com

I just bought a opti for my 94 T/A from all_ignition on ebay for 175.95 plus shipping. Cheapest price I found for a new A/C delco opti. HTH

Check all ignition's feedback. Many claim that the optis are not genuine AC Delco. On the other hand, I bought mine form thepartsladi as well and was very pleased.
