I have managed to find the Mahle powerpac for about $490 shipped. Anybody able to do better?

 

Where is that from?


Best I have found was $500 + shipping from thunder racing.

 

Flatlander Racing has the flat tops for that price.

Every vendor will charge a bit more for the dished Mahles--around $535.

Get them from the most reliable vendor in your mind, (not the cheapest).

I get my stuff from wholesale distributors now as an engine builder but as a racer I'd go either Flatlander or Thunder or Summit no matter what the price.

If doing a whole rotating assembly might look at the Compstar stuff that includes the Mahle pistons. Not cheap at first glance but a great price for a complete balanced package.

 

Do you need .040"? or would .030" work?

 

I agree, the Compstar speed packs are very nice, and do include Mahle pistons.
