This just started happening... when I hit a hard bump, one or all of my interior lights will flash on and then fade away slowly. I know the hatch light is burnt out but what could make that happen? It's annoying drivin down the road and then hit a bump and have the light flash on.

 

mine use to do the same thing and it was b/c my hatch wasnt closing all the way...it doesnt do it anymore but it was annoying as hell

 

Yep you need to adjust those rubber stops for your hatch. Just turn them out a turn or two and try it. It must be just lifting enough to release the light switch..

EDIT: To verify its your hatch just walk around behind it and lift up on the spoiler while its closed and see if the light comes on..
