when hot outside, knock goes away
my friends has a 97 camaro ss...with listed mods... scanmaster, hypertech, rk sport headers, slp cai, pulley, Lt4 knock module, no converters, 52mm TB, 160 thermostat,suspension mods...
so heres the problem, he is getting a lot of knock all the time, 5-8 degrees of knock... now thats it hot out, the knock goes down to 1
what could cause this...we have been fighting with this knock fo r the last year... we have tried 100 octane, knock stayed the same......when the outside temp is colder knock was higher=8-10
why would the hot air in reduce KR..
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
