When to get a stronger driveshaft?
I don't think I know of anyone who has broken the stock steel driveshaft. I know a few people have broke the stock LS1 aluminum ones, they usually just get replaced when they break. I think the weak link is in the U-joint. It is kind of small and most people replace the shaft and go with the bigger Ujoint when they upgrade to a 12bolt.
