When do you need to start considering an LT4 knock module?

When do you need to start considering an LT4 knock module? Headers? Cam? GMMG? Just wondering

HEaders or rockers. Cam, etc. Anything that causes more valvetrain noise then stock.

I myself got the LT4 KM once i got headers. Its so cheap that I would just get it anyways with a loud exhaust.

Ok thanks guys, I have the GMMG right now and headers are coming soon, I'll get one. Does it need programmed?

rockers mostly.. more clattering sound. You can always wrap teh stock modulein teflon tape.. it is like putting ear muffs on it, essentially what a LT4 would do, but a lot cheaper.

No, no reprogramming. What headers are you going with finally? Did the dyno sheets come in handy?

Yes they were handy even though I couldnt really tell how the curves differed. I am still not sure on headers. If I cant get a good deal then its JetHots.

what dyno sheets? do you have some that compare headers? (sorry to intrude)

and whats GMMG? GM manufactured goods?
