Wheels/Tire.......how big??

I want 18's in the rear and 17's in the front..........now the question is i want to know the widest the wheel can be run on the rear and on the front without cutting the fenders or anything.

any help would be helpful......or just tell me what you guys are running? or what you suggest.

Thanks for the input

Jason

I'm pretty sure about 11" is the widest you could go.

I believe the new ZO6 sizes are 17X9.5 and 18X10.5 front and rear. I'm not sure if the rest of the vette wheels are the same size, but I think the new gunmetal ZO6 rims would look sweet.

I am not fond of the ZO6 wheels, but I have seen a 4th gen with them and 295/35/18's on the back that fit nicely. Didn't appear to have been hacked up.

Good tires in that size are pricey. The car I saw had Pirelli P-Zeros. ~$300/tire. The guy said he also considered Michelin Pilot SPorts, at ~$350/tire The thing about the ZO6 wheels, even if you like them, is that it makes the car look like a Corvette wanna be, IMHO. But everyone's taste is different.
