Wheel Spacing

Im looking to replace my 16x8 Cragar SS rims with the Forged 17x9 Cragar SS. The 17s say they have 6' of rear spacing. I was wondering if this will keep the rim underneath the fenders and if I can run them all the way around. My 16s stick out a bit up front.

The stock WS6/SS 17x9 wheels have a 55mm offset, which is a 7-1/8" backspace. That means the Cragar's you are looking at would stick out at least 1" further than the stock WS6/SS wheels, which already stick out 1/2" more than the stock 16x8 wheels.

Just so you can judge where they would sit in the fender, the 17x9 Cragar's will stick out about 1/2" further than these 17x9.5" OZ Monte Carlos, that I used to run.

3.28" "front" space
