Angry What's wrong now?

Ok...My AC and Heat only come on when I have the fan set on high. If it's not on high it won't come on. ...and when the air blows out it feels really dry. Suggestions?

Some more detail please. Like is it no fan at all until the last position and then the fan comes on? Is it only on certain settings like defrost but not others like bi-level?

Does it blow warm when it should be cold? Does it seem to stop coming out of the mid level vents when you jump on the throttle while driving?

All of these mean something different. check it out and let us know

Like is it no fan at all until the last position and then the fan comes on? EXACTLY THE PROBLEM AC/HEater fan or whatever only activates once it is on High (the last position).

Is it only on certain settings like defrost but not others like bi-level? No works fine on the adjuster setting

Does it blow warm when it should be cold? No it doesn't do that.

Does it seem to stop coming out of the mid level vents when you jump on the throttle while driving? Not that I know of.

Suggestions?
This is the only thing on my car I haven't looked into yet.

Thats what I was thinking. Easy to change out. It's up under the glove box on the right side and is held in by 3 screw I think. Thats the only thing I can think of because if our getting a fan when you swithc it on high, thats means the blower is getting juice so it must just be shot at other speeds.

Patience my man...patience. It'll all come together one day. Just think, it could have been worse. Like me...I blew my motor with 79k on it. But even that happened for a reason. I always wanted to build me a stroker.

Sorry to say this but you will have to get the control out of the dash and see if the controls are not providing voltage to the fan until it finally starts spinning. You could test it at the fan but chances are good the controls are screwed up and not putting out until the last position. I don't suggest you change anything until you do some investigation. Personally I don't see why the motor would run at high speed but not low speed. I truly believe the problem is in the controls. DO NOT SHOT GUN the repairs. I don't have the money to do that and I don't believe you do either.
