I went out the other night and was in an empty parking lot so I decided to let loose and make a smoke cloud. after a little while, my car was running real odd, like it was missing or maybe running very rich. It seriously lacked power and it would have died if I didn't keep it idling @ ~1500 rpm. What could cause this? It isn't the first time it has happened either.

 

you'd think the first time you'd have learned...

you could have burned up your wires, could have bad 02 sensors, could have gunk in the throttle body clogging the little air hole in the runners, could have leaked something into the opti, could be just about anything that controls fuel spark or timing...

you need to further trouble shoot and find something. or at least tell us that you do have spark and proper fuel pressure.
