Whats wrong with this MSD opti? (Xray)

ahah yeah, i tried to unscrew it when i was in there and it was TIGHT, but they are both thread locked and secure... and ready for the 383 in sig ;p

Almost looks like the Number Two plug has a break in the cap as well....follow the line from the plug to the contact inside the cap...looks like a break to me...

Maybe not....they all kinda look like that.

That is cool. never seen that before. Im amazed how thin the wires are inside the opti before they connect to the plug wires. those little things hold 30000 volts?

yeah! i was surprised too!! they are sooo thin! they might have depth though that we can not see.

IMO buying the MSD opti is a mistake, too many failures even besides parts coming loose. Regardless though thank you for the pic, can we make requests????

this opti has the new seal that spaced the rotor cap to the correct depth. and screw issue was fixed before any serious damage.

umm, yeah sure make requests, don't know if i have all of the parts you may ask for heh. heres a pic of what was in my pocket one day... thats a 1997 infniti keyfob & keys, Sidekick LX, Usb memory stick.

humm, just so happens i have a lt1 intake in my trunk today ;p ill see if i can get it up on the xray machine.
