whats wrong?? 1/4 mile time of 14.1 @ 98-99 mph???
i dont understand what is wrong, my quarter mile times sucked i think...14.1 @ 98-99mph, my 60fts were 2.2, 2.3, 2.7.....but even with the kinda ****ty 60fts, i would think that my trap speed woud b higher, my car is the z28 6speed, edelbrock headers, 3ich flowmaster exhuast, msd ignition, slp cai, gertuchi mass air, i also have the hypertech but im not totaly sure if thats totaly set right......so what do u guys think?? why isnt my times better and y r my trap speeds so low??? thanks for n e info
He means your 60 foot times need to be less if you want to get into the 13s. That does seem really slow for the mods you say you have. I ran 14.181 @ 100.15mph on a 2.23 60ft because my tires lick my *****. Your 60ft times aren't very consistent either, try practicing launching somewhere where you won't get hassled, or just go to the track more.
I don't see any problem at all with those times and speeds. Ts and Mphs can vary from time to time. Your car is pretty much stock and is running pretty much stock times.
As far as the Hypertech, I doubt that it is helping you much, if at all, as far as tuning. JMHO.

What's a "gertuchi mass air"?
Is this the same car described on a Prelude forum:
What cam?
Some of those mods are "questionable" at best.... if you mean a Granatelli mass air sensor, its not any good. If you are running the Hypertech "power programming" without a 160degF thermostat, it is probably costing you HP, not helping. 18" wheels/tires will only hurt your 60-foot times.
To fully evaluate your quoted ET and MPH, you would also have to post the air tempereature, barometric pressure, humidty and the altitude of the track. Without that info, there is limited value in just looking at the one figure you posted for ET and MPH.

94 z28 camaro.....re-built lt1 5.7ltr, rebuilt 6 speed racing tranny, slp intake, msd ignition, gertuchi mass air, comp mild cam, eldelbrock headers, flowmaster 3inch exhuast with high flow cat, hypertech computer, sub frame conecters, autometer tac, 18inch crome rims....i think thats it......should b high 12 or low 13sec car havent gotten a chance to take it to the track, still gettin use to the rwd 6speed

R/T doesn't matter, They don't start your timer until you move. R/T is important in bracket racing.
For example:
I cut a 1.2 light(horrible I know, but they got better) the guy next to me cut a .8 or something like that, he crossed the line first, but my E.T was quicker.
