Eu guys I have 93 a4 what's the stock gear in this car? And how do I know if it's not stock? Thanks for all info.

Access only to 2nd 2.73

On my 94 the optional upgrade was 3:23 gears. I think the came with 2:73 for all the rest. The door code will tell you what ones came with the car. If you speedo is off and no one calibrated it for different gears then you have the factory ones.

 

If your gear shift goes to 1st, 3.23, if it only goes to 2nd, 2.73.

3:73 is the recommended ones for the A4. I did it and love them. The 4:10 are nice but don't do well on long high speed trips.

 

3.23 is a pretty good over all gear. I'd keep those till you get more mods.

Check the build code tag:

GU2 = 2.73:1
GU5 = 3.23:1

Note that the ratios are not expressed as 2:73, 3:23, 3:73, 4:10, etc.

 

What ealse should I do I have ran out of things I know to what other mode do you think?

 

Sorry didnt see your mod list. If you can get traction, some gears wouldnt hurt. Might be time to think about a converter upgrade also.
