when I turn my key in the ignition to the second click, i hear a low buzz/humming sound, then when I turn the key counter clockwise all the way, theres a high buzz sound. what is it? normal?

 

if its coming from the rear of the car.. its your fuel pump.

 

Most likely your fuel pump. If you put your left foot all the way to the front as far as you can and to the left you, then you might be able to feel the relay click on/off when you turn your key over. You should also be able to hear the relay.

 

Fuel pump, it's a good thing. !that noise, !go.
